Established in 1982, QVS is the first private, veterinary specialist hospital in Australia. QVS has expanded to provide specialised veterinary care across a range of disciplines. We receive referrals from all over Australia to our Brisbane hospitals, in particular Queensland and Northern New South Wales.

Do you have an emergency?
Emergency, after hours and critical care veterinary support is offered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year by our Pet Emergency team. Our specialist clinicians are available after hours to provide advice and in-hospital support.
If you have an emergency or need after-hours vet care, you do not need an appointment but you are welcome to call ahead, so we can prepare for your pets needs.

We have three specialist referral and emergency hospitals located in Stafford, North Lakes, and Warana, Sunshine Coast. Each hospital has world-class facilities, expert and specialist veterinarians and nurses, and veterinary technology to provide the very best in care for your pet.
QVS Sunshine Coast and QVS Stafford are recognised as level II VECCS-certified emergency and critical care facilities. This places us among a small number of facilities in the Southern Hemisphere to hold this certification.
