Globally recognised, locally trusted
QVS Stafford is recognised as a Level II VECCS-certified emergency and critical care facility. This places us among a small number of facilities in the Southern Hemisphere to hold this certification.
The certification is issued by the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society (VECCS), the international body that sets standards for emergency and critical care practice.
Level II certification exceeds baseline requirements. In addition to all Level III criteria, it requires 24/7/365 availability, an advanced medication formulary, dedicated ICU monitoring equipment, blood gas testing capability, high-flow oxygen, endoscopy, defibrillation and central venous access. Each criterion is independently verified through documented evidence.
QVS Stafford is also accredited as a Gold Cat Friendly Clinic by International Cat Care.
This accreditation recognises our world-class facilities, veterinary care and cat-friendly handling that we provide as a team.
When you bring your cat or dog to QVS, you are coming to a facility that has been rigorously assessed against the highest global standards.
