Emergency & Critical Care Specialist
Tess grew up in inner-city Melbourne. She has always been an avid lover of animals and dreamed of being a vet. Her determination saw her realise her dream when she graduated, with Honours, from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science.
Tess began her veterinary career by undertaking a rotating internship with QVS in 2013, which allowed her to realise her passion for Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care Medicine. In 2016, she successfully gained membership to the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Specialists, for the Emergency and Critical Care chapter and became the group clinical director for Pet Emergency.
Tess completed residency training and successfully passed her specialist board exams in emergency and critical care at QVS in 2025. Her clinical interests include management of sepsis, polytrauma, electrolyte derangements and envenomations.
Outside of work, Tess enjoys spending time with her family (furry and human), a long lunch with her girlfriends, cooking, video gaming and tennis.
