Physiotherapy
Animal Physiotherapy for comprehensive care and recovery
Animal physiotherapists undertake post graduate qualifications in order to specialise in Animal Physiotherapy. They work very closely with veterinary clinicians to achieve optimum outcomes throughout the rehabilitation phase.
Similarly to human physiotherapy, conditions are assessed and treated with a specialised knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics and rehabilitation and are then tailored to the individual needs of your pet.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why would my pet need to see a Physiotherapist?
Animal physiotherapy helps animals recover from injury, surgery, improve pain and stiffness, increase mobility and addresses the cause of their issues to prevent further injury. The physiotherapy service at QVS specializes in the treatment and rehabilitation of domestic, working and performance animals. Physiotherapy for animals may be for treatment of a specific condition, following injury or surgery, or for routine maintenance in performance and working animals.
We are fortunate enough to work with many animals each year, ensuring their successful rehabilitation.
