Anesthesia

Frequently Asked Questions

Why would my pet need the Anaesthesia team?

The administration of anaesthesia is necessary for various procedures spanning across the hospital including ultrasound, endoscopy, advanced imaging procedures such as CT and MRI, digital x-ray, surgical procedures, dental care and emergency medicine interventions.

Our Anaesthetists are highly trained, experienced and passionate about all aspects of anaesthesia and analgesia (pain relief). They are supported by our experienced veterinary nurses and technicians to ensure that your pet receives the best care possible, around the clock.

While routine procedures benefit from specialists’ anaesthesia, if your pet has multiple health conditions, or is undergoing a complex procedure, specialist anaesthesia is of significant benefit to help ensure the best outcome of your pet.
